I did a Eropean Delivery a couple of years ago and that was much more excruciating than just ordering and waiting. I think it was because I had the car for a coule of weeks and then had to give it back and wait for redelivery. As much as this is tough I think ED was worse.

I think you mean the 23rd, it had already slipped to the 22nd. Two slips now, was originally slated for the 21st.

Where's our stupid boat? Still no sign of it on the AIS sites. You'd think it would be in range by now.

I think it has to be pretty close to shore to show up on AIS. It is scheduled to arrive in Oxnard tomorrow, so it should show up in the next 24 hours. The Port Hueneme website does not have an ETA for the boat.

Goliath Leader is just of the coast from Tijuana and expected to berth at midnight tonight in Port Hueneme.

Actually, looks like 1200 on the 23rd in whatever time zone marinetraffic.com uses. It's 2340 there now, so that would put the arrival at around 4:00 tomorrow morning. In any case, glad to see the ship back on the map!

I wonder whether we'll be able to pick up our cars this weekend? I was hoping to drive down and get mine on Friday.

My CA said my car should be ready Friday but he is in LA

I had to go all the way to Bakersfield to get a reasonable deal on mine, so not too much farther than you from the port. My salesman said he should have it ready on Friday, but he also seems to think it was offloaded from the boat yesterday, so I'm taking it all with a grain of salt.

I have been watching this thread for a while but I finally decided to sign up. Suspense is killing me :-) I've been waiting for my ED for 7 weeks now and the Goliath Leader is finally getting close to Port Hueneme. At the time of this post this vessel is now near Catalina Island. See here.

The shipping lane takes you toward Long Beach it should head north soon.

The ship is due to go to Long Beaach after Port Hueneme.

Seriously, what kind of BS is this that BMW doesn't have a little GPS tracking unit loaded into each of our cars so we can know exactly where it is at all times? Lame.

Has anyone heard anything from their salesperson? I've been pretty okay with the waiting over the last couple months, but now that we're so close, the wait is really killing me. I want my car NOW.
