335xi FULL BRAKE JOB

Hey guys,

I want your opinions on what route(s) to go with my brake job. My car is just over 60,000 miles and is calling for front brakes and a brake fluid change. I am going to change the pads, rotors, sensors and fluid on all four wheels. I plan on doing it myself so I need to purchase all of the parts.

I am very happy with the stock performance of my brakes. However, I do not like the inflated OEM prices on rotors, pads, etc. so i would like to go with aftermarket parts.

Please help me out with my selection and parts list.

Here's my list so far...

4 brake pads (I want low dust pads)
4 cross drilled rotors (mostly for looks)
2 brake pad sensors (1 front, 1 rear)
1 bottle of CRC disk brake quiet

What else will I need? Also, please recommend pads/rotors etc...

Thanks!!

How much do you want to spend?

Your list is similar to my list when I did my brakes. I was looking for quality over price, so I spent a bit over $1K in parts. I did have stainless brake lines on my list though.

I'd use OEM, ATE rotors w/ Pagid [Blue] pads.

Turner Motorsport has some really good package deals...you can even tweak the package to you liking via the drop down menus. They have various pad and rotor options, and you can even add S/S lines if you want. Plus fluid and sensors, which is everything you would need. Prices start at around $500 but can be more than $800 depending on options selected. For what you want, you're looking at about $600. Here is the link:

ECS Tuning has some decent package deals as well.

Thanks for the reply guys. Turner Motorsports seems to be the most hassle free and cost effective solution.

What roundle said. Zimmerman is also decent, but not much cheaper than OEM.

Those drilled/slotted rotors are all made in China stuff, not what I'd trust on my brakes.
