COLUMBIA -- Police said a 69-year-old Columbia man was killed Monday while working on his car at home.

The car, a BMW M3, rolled out of the man's driveway in the 5100 block of Columbia Road and ran over the victim when he tried to stop it, police said.

Authorities believe the victim, Michael Kim, was alone at the time of the incident.

No other details were released.

Wow that's awful. I've run up to stop cars from rolling downhill before... Not the smartest thing to do.

RIP. This is why I rather just take the damn car to my bmw mechanic. Not worth the risk even just oil change IMO.
