Wavetrac LSD popping
So I grabbed a used Wavetrac LSD locally and traded with the guy. 3.08 Bolted gear pre-installed for my N54 335 6spd. Had it in a few months now and works great. Just a little worried...
He said it makes a noise and that's normal. I can replicate it and it seems to be doing it every time the diff is engaging/dis-engaging; Either when off the clutch or on/off the throttle. More of a high pitched ping or pop and pretty noticeable especially with the windows open. Also hes using Redline 75w90NS. Im also wondering what other Wavetrac users are..well..using. I'm wondering why the NS version. Thanks guys |
