Question My E92 pre lci outer angel eye is very dim

Hi, guys.

I just installed 60W 8CREE led angel eyes on my 2010 E92. The outer ring are very dim. Even at night.

First pic was taken in about 4:30pm cloudy day with iphone 6. I stand about 9 ft away.

Second was taken after fully sundown. About 8:00 PM. The outer ring indeed very dim

The bulbs are locked, they will not move around if I wiggle them.

Can anyone tell me what problem maybe? The dim seems even worse than stock Amber lights.

Lool that's not just a problem in your car, it's everybody's problem when you own a pre lci. Lci (2011) and up have even led rings witch look awesome, but unfortunately the headlights aren't swappable, the only way is to go with OSS.designs or umnitzia led rings and open up your headlights.

lol thanks.

I saw some pre lci with same product, the outer ring is more bright. Possible the bulb still not align perfectly.

I might check it again today.

Blows my mind that the same thread comes up about once a week and no one learns from others mistakes. It's not the bulb or any bulb for that matter...its the design of the headlight.

Yes, its right.

But, the positioning of the bulb is also very important. when install it should be carefully aligned. If the led bulb can point direct at outer ring, the light will much better.
