I am selling 2 logic 7 (4 ohm) subs in great condition without the enclosures. I am them selling for 175 shipped. I got an aftermarket amp and subs.

I'm pretty sure they are as I've heard of others upgrading their hiding subs to L7. However, I wanna be sure. I will research this and reply tomorrow.

Thanks for checking that. I think this will be a good upgrade, but after doing some more research, it looks like I should go with some kickers or jenharts.

Keep in mind that if you go aftermarket you will also need to factor in the price of a new amp to push them. Thanks for considering them anyway.

Yeah, that's a concern. The MS8 has a more powerful amp than the OEM amp but it still might not be enough.

Please get a real amp if you plan to run aftermarket subs. The MS8 only provides something like 20 rms to each channel. Even when adding in the oem amp you'll have a deficit of at least 100 rms. tht means you'll be running less than half of the needed power for aftermarket subs. Spend the extra money (about $200-$250 for the amp and money for an amp kit ) and do it right otherwise you'll have poor sound quality and have to rewire everything back to your ms8.

Or you just buy the L7 subs and get a nice increase in sound quality without an extra amp.
Either way you go, please don't run aftermarket subs without a real amp. You're getting an MS8 to help with SQ, don't go backwards.

I've just upgraded my e93 system with the alpine retrofit kit. Will the logic 7 subs fit in the standard sub enclosures? (standard subs are 6.5").. Apologies if this is a silly questions, google hasn't provided me the answer...

Unfortunately it won't be a Plug-N-Play (or drop-in) solution. You'll find the 6.5" woofers are glued into the enclosures and the construction of the baffle on your enclosure is too thin.

Your best bet is to buy a set of plastic enclosures from a salvage car and install the L7 subs into the OEM enclosures as an assembly. I'm using them on my car with the Alpine upgrade kit and am thoroughly impressed with their output.
