Talking My Front-Lip Scrape Guard from Home Depot, Using Industrial Strength Velcro

One of the things that makes any lowered car owner cringe the most is getting their expensive front lip and/or freshly painted bumper scrape while traversing up and down driveways. The best way to mitigate that mitigate that is to make a lip guard using a material that is cheap, has adhesive, be durable enough to resist against abrasion, and be easily replaceable.

So, thinking out of the box, the only material that I could think of with those qualities is industrial strength velcro from the local Home Depot

What I did was cutting it into foot long pieces and do some minor trimming around the curves of the bumper/lip. Here is a picture of it after a few weeks of use, and a few scrapes.

I'd probably just use some PPF or vinyl.

I think you can buy felt with similar adhesive, might look even cleaner than the velcro.
