I see logic 7 subs for sale in the classifieds. In my SE I had the professional stereo and the things under the seat although I'm not sure if there was anything in there. I have the same professional head unit in my e91 m sport but there is so much more bass in the sound and there is something in the thing under the seat. So what is in there. Is it a speaker or a sub and is it in the e91 because it's an m sport model. Thank you.

If plain stock E92: It's a 6.5" midbass. It goes with the 4" coaxial/mid combo in the door.

Older E90s and E91s only had the 4" and nothing else.

The sound from the bone stock 2 speaker combo is surprisingly good at low volume but really can't go very loud.

So what you have right now is a midbass.

I'd recommend you also upgraded your 4"s to the hifi or logic 7 mids and then got the door pillar tweeters: Because going mid to sub in the floor will lose you some range. You'd be doing half an upgrade.

Under seat are subs. And they are responsible for Mid bass (not very good at lower end of bass).
L7 subs are heavier and with wider radius coil and produce more bass.

Left one if L7 and right one is standard which you have now.
