Genuine m3 mirrors fitted to stock gloss bases. Power folding too. I did this as it looks different to a normal m3 mirror

I would say it looks more like a Z3 M!

Here we go.... If you can find me a badge that fits the hole that does not say m3 in it that has the mono tone stripes I will replace it!! I am not saying this car is an m3 at all. If I wanted an m3 I would buy one. I like m3's but I also like to make cars a bit different. No man in the whole world can make everyone happy!! And I have never ever been a poser. Like others have said though, the M badges need to go. Our M sports already have too many M badges as it is. The badges on the bonnet and boot need to be put back to the original as well I think.

These are only small things, but nonetheless, they still degrade the overall appearance IMO.
Hi yes it is a cat d. Just to clear things up regarding the "m" badge and the roundels. Over here in England. When you buy any BMW model it can be a "m" series in any petrol or diesel format and it comes with "m" badges on the steering wheel. Wheels. And door sill entry guards ect. So these badges are oem for this car. It does not mean its an m3 badge. Not sure if its like this over in the states?? The only extra badge I've fitted is the one on the boot lid. Which like I said please wait till you see the interior when done.
As for the roundels. I have tried differents sets including the oem ones and in mine and others opinion at my garage think the theme suits the ones fitted best.

The tail pipes and rear diffuser to be fitted shortly.
Please keep sending me you thoughts.
The rear lights are too dark but this was my first attemp. They will be lighter next time as I want them lighter. Thanks Chris

A lot of work and effort has gone into that.

It looks really good. Well done.

The car is well known the forum and was owned by a member here before the accident with a Subaru.

Nice to see you on the Forum Chris.

We've been in contact since he bought the car, and from some of the pictures (unposted) that I've seen, he's made a really good job of my car!!

Chris, do what you want with the badges!!! (and anything else on the car)
I'd prefer not to see the black badges on the bonnet & boot, but don't mind them on the wheels. How about getting some stock badges and painting them yourself, with Montecarlo blue???
You already know what I think about the roof rails!!!!

Oh wow, I remember you posting your accident pictures.

This is an amazing transformation! Very cool man. I'd personally ditch the M3 badging, but everything else is mint!

The M badge isn't what I'd do, but frankly F what other people think, it's your car. Easily one of the best E91s I've ever seen, you just don't see those looking so aggressive around these parts. Very unique.

I think it's a cool build, you definitely put a lot of work into it! There are some pieces that I wouldn't have added, but when it comes to cosmetics, to each his own.

I think people don't like the badge because, well, it's not an M3... it's a 335d. It's also different in the US - if you get an M Sport package or a 335is, you get the ///M logos on the wheel and stuff, but its not an M car and it never will be an M car.

Hi guys. The "m" badge on the boot has now been ditched. Must admit it looks cleaner. I have also re tinted the rear lights and now they are lots clearer. They was too dark before. I might experiment with the roundels as mike says. Will post more pics soon

The Black and White's fine, although I'd much prefer another blue one.

If it happens again, you could do another one!!!
The blue one is a good advert for your work.

Mike I was thinking of BMW pearl white at first but it meant changing the v5 details. I think white looks nice on these long ones.

Hi. I am putting Clio cup seats in it. They are the same as performance seats. Just changing the runners and bases. They are both called recaro cd sportster seats. With side airbag.
A friend of mine has an e91 full m3 v8 conversion. Look him up under 63NP

If I could be bothered I would look at the rest of your post/replies with other people but..... I've met people like you before on forums and you give forums a bad name. All I have done is something different and you slate me for it. Why? Can I ask... What have you ever done that's different related to something you love doing. Or are you a sheep that just follows the other sheep?????. It would be nice if you could give me a good constructive answer but.... I guess you will abuse me some more

I see you name is lakers088. Does this mean you own a football or basketball team??

Damn that's cool. Black Chrome tail pipes if it were my choice.

Wish we had some good touring engine choices over here.
