Do you know what is FUTURE USE 1? Now it is 0%,
Could you send me the documentation about map 9-9 (if it exists)

I read in the forum:

0=disabled remote control
1=enabled

Thanks

Shiv, in one post I read somewhere else you mention that the Lean-run Cruise feature works for rev I as well. However your user documentation for these 9-9-09 maps say otherwise. Which one is right?

Thanks

Yep. That adjustable is completely nonfunctional.

Shiv did confirm lean run works on rev 1 in another thread. Enjoy!

That is correct... this would also apply to Rick's guage as it uses the same input.

If you set this to 1 and guage will still not switch maps, then you likely have some other issue. I would recommend going to a previous firmware and testing it with that to make sure you hardware is OK.

I noticed the ignition correction was set back to 100% on these new maps. Should we just change it back to 75% if we want the performance of the beta maps that were emailed out?

Yes. 100% will always be the default Ignition Correction value for publicly posted maps. If you want to set it to 70% (more aggressive) you can do so. But it's always a good idea to back up that decision with a datalog confirm it to be an improvement.

Got it! Hard to go back to 100% once you feel the difference haha. Thanks again! Can't wait for the new 6mt map to come out.

Shiv I set to 1 and the remote control doesn´t work, before with firmware 121 and map 7-29 all was ok.

When I start in valet mode (set to 1 in valet mode) and switch map 1 or map2, the DME must readapted again? Before with 7-29, although I drove in valet mode, when switched map1 or map2 the car ran very fine (only when I unplugged the battery, I had a short time of adaptation)

Thanks a lot

It should work. The only difference is now that remote control induced mapswitching doesn't induces SES light map indicator. That feature is only reserved for maps that are switched by the DTC button. Maybe that is why you think it is not switching? Monitor "current map selection" on the user software and you can confirm that maps are switching.

There really shouldn't be an adaption time required. Shouldn't be any issue with going between valet and map1/map2.

Shiv,
In general, what octane fuel do you typically need to successfully lower ign correction to say 70%? I run shell 98 ron (93/94oct) and I got what I think are drop outs. Do more mods make it easier to safely lower ign cor.?

Is it fair to say competitors piggybacks operate at the procede's equivalent of 0% ign correction and rely on DME?

Also, when summer rolls in, is it fair to assume the user settings will need to be made less aggressive to compensate for the heat?

Thanks!

I have to check today if the remote control induces mapswitching, I am going to monitor "current map selection", thank you for you info!

The other issue is vital for me, now when I start in vmode and mapswitching, I must adapt and it’s a very uncomfortable
Then even if I start ever in valet, there shouldn´t be an adaptation time required? Do I install the firmware again?

THANKS A LOT SHIV

I checked the issue, when I set to 1, the remote control switchs the maps. After to use the DTC button, the remote control doesn´t work, it is normal (you told me too) Sometimes the DTC changed the map (I saw "current map selection) but the SES light indicator did not flashed.

Is it normal for boost to fall off towards the end of 3rd gear? I go from about 13 at 6000rpm to 9 or 10 by 6500 rpm. In second it holds 13 till 6800 then it starts to taper. I'm running 75%UT and 75% Ignition corr. I know it's supposed to drop boost before the shift, but I thought that happened after 6500RPM?

Maybe this will help you understand the PROcede boost curve. Here's what my Stage 1 PROcede boost logs look like for comparison:

As you can see, the boost drops off rapidly after 6000 rpm.

You can't use the BT cable while the Procede is active.

They both cannot share the Canbus at the same time and are therefore mutually exclusive.
