You don't need meth for them to run correctly. Mine are doing great with a JB4 tune and no meth. Either that's good news so you can run them, or it expands your target audience. I know a fair amount of people (not necessarily on this platform) that want max power, but refuse to use meth.

I think he means to say without addressing the fuel problems, it might be a waste of time. Meth or flashing will work.

You are definitely leaving a lot of power on the table without running meth, but IMO, it's not necessary. (And not worth the risks to me)

I shall await fuel pump options for the 335i...I fitted "Whine"bro FP for my WRX and ran 1000cc injectors...some progress has been made for the LPFP, but none for the HPFP.

Do rb turbos have a specified break in period? There's a private track rental at MIR and a dyno day as well on this coming saturday just fyi. lol

No break in necessary, just treat them as you would OEM turbos...let it idle/warm up and let it rip.
I am going to that event actually, curious to see what I put down on very conservative boost (~15psi) and 93 octane. I plan doing a race gas map though. |
