Fumoto oil drain valve ?
Does anyone use the Fumoto oil drain valve in a 2006 325xi sedan , if so which is the correct drain valve to use ?

Not sure about the N52 but on my N54, I am using the F109N with ADP109 adapter. The adapter is a must due to the recessed drain port. It's a tight fit with the F109N - the regular F109 might be better.

The Fumoto F109 Series (12mm-1.5) is correct for your car also.
They have (3) choices
NiVeDh is correct, the 'no nipple' version will prolly fit better with the belly pan panel and all. Some cars also require the ADP109 Adapter that is used for recessed drain holes Cost: F109 - $24 F109N - $27 F109S- $27 ADP109 - $6 http://www.qwikvalve.com/search.php?mode=search&page=1

I purchased the *F109S , the adapter is NOT needed for the 2006 325xi, I also had to make a minor modification on the plastic cover for the drain valve to fit as you can see on the photo and the tool that was used to make the small hole, it sticks out very little which will not cause any real concerns.I actually forgot to also take a photo of the plastic cover closed, I'll add the photo soon.
Maybe the regular *F109 might fit better, but until a member actually posts a photo we'll never know. Quote:

Rather than starting a new thread I'm dredging yup this one. Getting ready to do my first oil change on my "new" '06 330i and want to confirm that I do not need the extender for the fumoto valve.
Looks like the f-109 is what I want, but want to confirm whether I need the extender or not. Thanks in advance to those in the know. |

I am currently using the F109S, I own a 2006, 325xi sedan and it does NOT need the extender, but I did have to make a minor modification on the plastic cover as you can see . I guess stick with the F-109, or the above if you have room .
I'll post my results on the F109S during my next oil change. Quote:
