Anyone Running GP Thunder V2 7500/8500K Bulbs for Angel Eyes?
Hi Guys,
Just curious to see if anyone is running (or has run) the GP Thunder V2 7500K or 8500K light bulbs for your Angel Eyes. They seem to have gotten excellent reviews, but I wanted to see if anyone had experience with them on this forum. TIA, Rich |

I just put my 8500 GPs back in. I had to take out the Alpine kit. I was having way to many problems with it. I am going to send it back to Alpine and see what they could do for me because I loved that HID look!

I did some research (talking with vendors) on the difference between the 7500 and the 8500. My understanding was the 8500 will be more blue, while the 7500 will be more white. But the kicker for me was the 7500 apparently appears to be brighter, especially during daylight, versus the 8500. So that was why I went with the 7500 vs. the 8500.
In general, I'm really happy with my 7500s - the only thing I've noticed so far was they do dim and look yellowish when my headlights come on. But when the headlights aren't on, they look very white and, to me, appear to be just as bright as the stock angel eye bulb. Best bang for the buck mod I've done so far! -Rich |

My 8500s are not blue at all. Now my 10k Alpine HIDs are very ICY blue! BTW...I am happy to say that Alex at Alpine offered to upgrade me to a problem free kit for free. So, I should have my HIDs back in within the next few weeks.
Here is a pict of my 10k HIDs.

Nice pic... that was a fun drive. I don't have too many pics of my car with the angel eyes on, but at least you can see mine. They are the Aurora LEDs
