Difference between USB/AUX sockets? Switchable?

Does anyone know what the difference is between REALOEM part no: 84109237653 and 84109237654?

These are the USB sockets that I will be using to add USB to my LCI 2010 e92 that came with pro HU and Bluetooth but no USB.

One is listed as switchable and one isn't, any ideas?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Craig

The retrofit kit (USB / Bluetooth) seems to imply that they are the same socket type / fitting

Is there a DIY to fit this? Ive just had my headunit coded and it now has the USB option but I need to fit the cable and the new USB socket, ideally for a e92.

Has your professional radio got USB built in?

Yes it has. I've got the later pro head unit as my car is 2012. I had Bluetooth but no USB, so took it to an indi who added the USB option but I now need to add the cable and socket in the armrest. The indi said to avoid running it near the handbrake as it won't last long, he recommended lifting the centre console slightly

Thanks.
so do you just remove the cable from the aux connection and replace with the usb lead and port?
Does that allow aux to still work?

Yep.

Then run the USB wire from the socket to the back of the headunit or module in the boot (what ever USB module you have).

Thanks jammy78.

It will be going to the back of the HU I believe as I have a 2011 LCI model with built in BT.

Any idea where's best to get the parts or is this a dealership jobbie?

Then just find some to code it...
