Brake Performance OEM style rotors?

So, I just changed my old pads this weekend to Cool Carbon pads and decided to measure my rotors in the process as they had developed a lip on the outside. Looks like they are about down to 28.1 mm when the minimum spec on the rotor is 28.4 mm. So, looks like I might need to spend money on new rotors too.

I noticed some people here use Brake Performance rotors as they are inexpensive, and usually get the cross-drilled and/or slotted. I LOVE the looks of them, but I did read a couple of posts here with people who were concerned about the slots going all the way to the edge of the rotor and the structural integrity of drilled rotors......so I'm wondering if I should just go with the OEM style. They are CHEAP (like $127 for a pair of front rotors), however I'm wondering about the quality. I saw in a search someone was concerned about them maybe using solid steel, is this true and is this really bad if so? Is there any weight saving aspect associated with the OEM style rotors over normal OEM rotors?

Thanks!

Better yet, go to your local stealership.
Heard that they charge 200+ for each.
Think they cast them out of a very rare metal and at night, they have a green glow to them...

Just ordered Dimple drilled - Slotted.
NOT for any performance gain ... just the look and the warranty !
