I thought Audi's were rear wheel drive only, the key you use to wind up the mechanism goes in the exhaust pipe.
Twin piped Audi's have 2 clockwork motors. I guess the shafts on the keys are longer! |

When I think of the myriad of other ways you could have filled those precious moments it just makes me want to weep. I thought it all went really well. I did detect a hint of confusion at some points, but I think it's clear now ... maybe |

I've aften thought some of the Audi's i've own in 4WD, would have been better in FWD, the 225 TT for one, it would have been lighter, and more nimble.

My previous car was an A4 - 2.0T quattro s-line saloon
It had the 4 wheel drive system and I loved it! It was the most surefooted car I have ever owned - had a Celica T-sport before and with 190BHP through the fronts used to get the orange 'traction' light on the dash flashing like a mad one, lol! The Audi never lost composure, with the S-line pack the suspension was lowered and stiffer and the low-profile 18"'s had little give (but gave a far superior ride to these daft run flat things we are blessed with!) - Country lanes in bad weather was a joy - I do love the RWD of the beemer but every now and again you get that arse end twitch that just warns you to play a little more carefully!! As a side note, I drove the new 635D last week, my mate had it for a few days as he works for a dealership and his 525d was in the body shop - I have never seen such a twitchy RWD car - OK, it's powerful! but not that powerful? The back end was ready to go at a moments notice with a reasonable amount of throttle on a corner. Was especially noticeable accelerating away from speed humps, etc. I put it down to my inexperience with the car, but even my mate has said since he is now less keen on it due to it's twitchy nature - it is great fun.....until the missus borrows it |

Well i new what Carlos ment with the 2wd .
Had a look at a S5 the other day and it really does look nice but to me it looks massive , anyone else find this ? The other thing are those lights at the front which i believe are on all the time. To be honest they really do make you look like you're trying too hard , i would get seriously pissed off if i coundn't switch them off ! |

Yes - they are a bit shouty aren't they. Sure you must be able to turn them off though.
I prefer the styling of the E92 to the A5. The A5 does look very heavy from the side to me.

What the hell does "tyring to drive it like a petty" mean? Carl, much as I embrace multicultural Britain, english is still the approved language round here, your progressively weird patois is beginning to grate(wah). |
