Evan at Tischer -- cannot give enough praise.

For those in Maryland, you are truly blessed to have Tischer BMW and a parts adviser like Evan.

Evan has gone out of his way for me several times. He is genuine, humble, and extremely helpful -- at no benefit to himself!

1. Both Savage Bmw, New Century Bmw, and even the famous retrofit friendly Roveractive told me there is no possible way I could retrofit Homelink on my car. No retrofit kits are available for my vin...supposedly. Until now, as far as I am aware, there has been no documented success of a REAL homelink retrofit complete with compass on a base model e90 without autodimming/folding mirrors. It was only after Evan@Tischer provided us with the part # for the retrofit harness that it became a success.

2. Savage Bmw and New Century Bmw also told me bluetooth would cost me $3k in parts and another $2k in labor. Evan worked with me to find a proper solution. Now Savage is trying to bully me into paying for an FZD module that I don't need and is charging me an arm and a leg for it! Evan was so helpful and kind enough to fax over a quote for a price match.

The situation has not been resolved but I cannot wait to express my thanks. He definitely did not have to go OUT of his way to help me like this and I genuinely appreciate the gesture from the bottom of my heart!

Dealt with those guys a couple of times and they are awesome. Some dealerships don't seem like they are even into the cars they sell but the guys at Tischer are real BMW enthusiasts. Pleasure to deal with.

+1 to the service by Evan. He offered great communications, and I ordered twice from him and the items came lighting fast.

I can vouch for these guys. Now Canadian members cannot order anything from them but they are still available to answer any questions you shoot at them.

Their presence on this forum is a big +.

Keep up the good work Evan and Jason.

You really helped me out! My SA couldn't make it cheaper so I went to the service manager.

The service manager took your fax and went to parts. Parts was like WTF this is like below our cost, Tischer is crazy!

In the end they gave me a little bit below MSRP - $268 but it was still higher than your online price of ~$238.60

At least it was WAY better than what they were gonna charge me: $508
