I hear you. It's a little risky with a salvaged car though. You never know what kind of accident it has been in. I guess you can still work with it if the damage was purely superficial but you'd definitely want to get it thoroughly inspected.

Anybody familiar with how to remove trunk? I'm trying to test fit the LCI trunk before sending it out for paint. I was going to make a thread about it in the DIY section, but wanted to see if anyone locally knows. Thanks.

It's pretty easy. Just 4 11mm bolts to get the trunk off the hinges. I did it when I first got my car to clean everything.... You just need a bit of trial and error getting it lined up perfectly once put back on.

Haha it's been what, a couple days since you got the exhaust on and now you're already looking forward to this?!??! This would definitely be a 'mod', unless you plow into a deer, whichcase this would make perfect sense!
That bumper does look really good. Otherwise, there are a couple add-on lips out there that I think look great! |

Hahhahah I just thought it was cool how the lip is molded to the bumper. I would have bigger things to think about than an aftermarket bumper if I ploughed into a deer! Not a fan of add on lips. |

Isn't that a complete bumper on the black M3 in your picture? If that lip is molded onto the bumper, they surely did a good job!

This car is pretty sick. I love the aftermarket bumper on this car... I can't decide if I like the color or not though.
Either way, if you want to see some cool project cars, check out IND's website.

^^That would be my favorite front bumper on an M3...I couldn't remember the name of it! That is such a proportionally subtle yet aggressive bumper I've seen. I like the color on that one too

There is just one small problem with this one though... it costs $1,900.00 un painted. Looking on there website, they did the carbon fiber roof mod to that sedan. Kind of cool.
