Having trouble deciding on wheels
As the title says, I cant come to a final decision on my next wheels. I'm torn between Alufelgen SF-71's, Linea Corse LC888's, and Sonic Tuning's ST8's. What do you guys think?
The car they are going on: SF-71's (19x8.5 et35 F and 19x9.5 ET35 R): LC888's (19x8.5 et30 F and 19x10 et37 R): ST8's (19x8.5 et35 F and 19x9.5 et33 R;Couldn't find any photos on an E90 LCI):

Yea I must agree with DeMerrisk. BUT.... The LC888's are just way too plane and bland looking to me. The CSL wheels are really nice looking but everyone has them. I have always been a big fan of BBS so my vote for for LM reps.

I really like the first mesh (SF-71s) I was going to go with something very similar until I got a great deal on Beyern Bavaria (rotary forged) wheels, similar to your second choice (LC888).
I thought about the deep dish mesh style like your 3rd choice but some have said the deep dish style is going out in favor of a more aggressive concave wheel like no# 1 & 2. I had your OEM wheels w/run flats too. Other things to consider... 1) The weight of the wheel, the OEM's are really heavy. I'm assuming 30 to 40 lbs. My new wheels are about 21 lbs each and it made a noticeable difference in drive (from stop to go, to general performance). 2) Run flats or non-RFs. I was a big believer in RF's but decided to go with Falken non RF's and the ride is smother and a little more quiet. Whatever you do, definitely go staggered and at least 18's. Here's a pic of mine. Good luck and have fun! |

Those Beyern Wheels are very nice. It seems like your front tire is bigger than your rear tire? Have you checked your tire size?

Took a pic of my coworkers new 650i Grand Coupe M package (because who doesn't like the 650i GC). He's 73 keeps it in comfort mode and enjoys the power and exhaust note for about 50 ft. |
