Negotiating watch price

Looking to buy a nice swiss watch and like the Tissot Quadrato. Never bought a watch from a jeweler so thought I'd ask here if the price is negotiable and how much room do they have.

I'm in Ottawa-any recommended jewelers you had good deals with in the past?

you can easily get the GST/PST taken off your purchase....plus some more on top... that is what i did with my GMT2-Rolex. (if you want the official watch with the warranty stuff). If you don't care about the warranty(not like the watch will break) you can easily get 25%+ off

You can find these "Special" dealers through these forums: timezone forums We are not talking about used watches, same watch you'd get at a store, but with a nice fat discount.

if you have questions about watches, you might want to ask mike@mwdesign. irrc, mike has a collection of panerai watches and seems to know a lot about them.

I bought the Tissot Quadrato. The service at Jubilee was good and 15% is good for me.

Ya, I bought a Tissot for my girlfriend at Jubilee in Rideau and got 15% off plus I got them to throw in another watch strap for free that I thought she would like.

I'm not sure if that specific model is at Costco but I actually have seen some Tissot watches selling at there as well.
