Thanks, I will. I'll start to put something together for November. I'll also get together with Leith BMW and Performance BMW in Chapel Hill to advertise the event to create a buzz. It seems like we have a bit of interest from this forum, I'll keep you posted on what I can come up with. I know I can come up with a professional photographer that can take some great photos for us, I'll handle the food and beverage aspect, maybe I can get Leith BMW to bring some new models down to our parking lot so we can check those out. Any other ideas?

question about NC inspection....

I am thinking of doing 2 things here and would like some feedback.

1st- deleting the 2nd cats. I have a 330 and already have a res delete and custom exhaust. will deleting the 2nd cats fail inspection?

second question- If I get headers, it will delete the primary cats. will this fail inspection? I would have 2nd cats in place, but am wondering of it would fail since primary cats are gone?

please let me know. Dying for some more power here, and the best way for my car is for those cats to go!

After bragging to everyone how professional the service is at M Powered in Cary is, they decide not to work on my car. I prob have reffered 8 or 9 people there in the last year. I was excited about helping people have their BMW's run right and like to help the underdog when i can. This is a little shop in Cary that I tell everyone to go to that has had a bad experience with their dealer but today I called to buy some strut mounts and they told me they were not interested in my business. Well, I will take my business else where. I will be taking my crew..... about 10 folks in the area that have had tunes installed, and various other tasks to a shop that is interested in my business. This is what I get for trying help some young talent in the triangle./>?

Stay tuned I will be posting the next place to get aftermarket warranty work done. Actually the last time I tried to get some work done on my injectors that were unable to do the work anyway so just something to keep in mind.

Must be nice to have so many customers that you don't need to take care of folks.

I will be installing piggy backs for tips only for anyone that hasn't already agreed to pay me for work...

Thats not good to hear at all. I have been to Mpowered multiple times and have had no problems and really like the staff and their work.

Got my strut mounts changed out and new arms for the front. Parts and labor were $400. Diagnosis was free!

I bet John will give any new customer a break on labor like he did me. Car returned clean clean and rides like a dream.

Tell him I sent you (Chris in the White 335i) and he will take good care of you. There is a tech there that knows n54 better than M Powered... thats for sure! M powered know E36-46 and likes to work on them most. Must be nice to be able to turn away paying customers however they did copy me and began installing JB3 instead of AA. hmmmmm wonder why??

Hello, any NC member here have knowledge/skills installing Alpine HiFi Upgrade on an 2011 E90. Apparently the new kit is all plug and play (no splicing) but involves taking the car apart.

Hey, a few of us are going to Raleigh this Saturday (6 Nov) It may be at least 8 of us. We are supposed to be leaving fayetteville around 12 noon. We are gonna go to crabtree Mall and other places. Brand new to Bmmerpost, sorta. I live in Raleigh and want to get plugged in and network with some people so I can learn more about performance upgrades and what people's personal experiences are with certain things like tunes and intakes etc... Never done my own work but can't dream of paying someone to do everything for me since most seem easy if you have a little direction.

I'd be interested in catching up with the guys from Fayetteville for the outing this Sat if I had more details. Let me know if any more plans have been solidified.

Titles underneath represent primarly the number of post you have. Once you hit a certain number your title will change. So far looks like plans are still a go for this Saturday as far as I know. Hope to see you out there!
