poldim: Wouldn't we ALL have to be patrons...no biggie, we can all buy a stick of gum, whatever
So we will press on then? Guys? Will send out the PM Blitz tonight, as soon as I get home. I have a new master list to work with...

Hello All- I've been reading this thread and I am interested in attending the "meet". Are there any required activites to be done before the event? Since I am new to this site and have never attended one before not sure what to do and how to go about it. Thx.

Hi Bimmergirl...
No there is no required activities, as the event is labeled, it is just a casual 'meet' or get together, an extension of our interactions on this fine forum, you might say. A meet like this gives local e90post personalities to come out and hang out and meet each other. It is also a time to check each other's e90s out and for general tech talk. Again its all about camraderie...we, after all, have at least one thing in common, we are all proud drivers of e90s. I beleive I missed you in the master list, and will include your name from now on. Be on a look out for a PM with the latest updates. Will shoot them off by tonight or tomorrow pending final agreement of location and activities. We look forward to seeing you there!!

Guys I'm out of ideas
I tried to secure a lot tonight in Arlington, but that didn't work out. What I can suggest is to commendeer an office building parking lot in and around Tysons or Reston for the 1-2 hours but that won't be ideal. We could also revisit the county park idea... What we have is some good interest and support within ourselves:, some mention goes to: restaurant reservations/arrangements at Clyde's courtesy of Geeslice, Passport BMW goodie bags courtesy of Passport BMW and ase2dais, I am getting the front plates (designed by Shimshimhada) done up and Poldim has invested his time trying to solicit Tyson's management for rights to the lot... Great teamwork and camraderie so far.... So let's roll up our sleeves and bring this 'meet' home...

On a more sombre note, I would also like your approval to also dedicate this meet and run to local and fellow e90poster bimmer4me who's GF is currently befallen with a health crisis... (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...8&page=1&pp=22)
Its all about camraderie and solidarity, I know that he had expressed interest in attending the meet some time ago. So, guys and gals, another reason to attend, please show our love, thoughts and support for bimmer4me...

I can try to change it...
I will let you know. If I can't get it for 12:30 what do you want me to do?

Shimshimhada: Yes...we are going to Passport, although they won't be as involved as we thought they would, they have agreed to set aside some exclusive space for the meet. I believe ase2dais have requested for one of the CAs (Yves, I think)to come out and meet us and pass the goodies... he also mention about test driving some M3
I think thats should be the plan, based on everyone's input and suggestion and I think its one that might work best.... As usual, folks, please feel free to comment and suggest...constructively

I don't think I need one. Because most of the footage will be rolling footage anyway. And I have a pretty elaborate method of mounting the camera in my car. |

I talked with Clydes and he was only able to push it to 12:15 but said we really needed to be on time because they have another large party coming in and pushing it back really cuts into our time because they already have the section booked for a group after ours.
So let's still work on getting there at 12? I'd rather not be rushed and have to worry about everyone being on time...
