About Bimmer Performance Center
Hello, My name is Bob. I'm the tuner for Bimmer Performance Center in Raleigh, NC. I would like to introduce our shop and share some information about us to the Bimmer Post community. Before I continue, please know we have contacted the forum administrators several times to become a site sponsor and have yet to hear back. The shop was started in 2011 by our owner, Dan Connor. For 14 years, Dan worked on BMW's as a dealership technician before deciding to go at it alone.
The business has grown to become the largest independent repair shop in central NC that focuses on only BMW vehicles. Other than repairing cars, BPC also has a motorsports division dedicated solely to fabrication, engine building, and tuning. BPC Motorsports has fabricated cars from the ground up and also built and tuned engines that have gone on to win a number of races & even championships in BMWCCA, NASA, Ultimate track car challenge (two years in a row). Our lead fabricator has learned from some of the best in the racing industry and our technicians have all gone through BMW's STEP program and have a combined experience of 47 years in BMW maintenance and repair. We work with the best aftermarket companies like Active Autowerkes, VAC, Bimmerworld and Turner Motorsports. We are not here to sell or distribute parts and tunes, we just wanted to let the BMW world know who we are and turn your craziest BMW ideas into reality. From a bored and stroked 2.8L M20, a custom single turbo M54, N52 with a N54 intake manifold swap and Alpha N tune, an S62 swapped E30 that's completely back halved with E36 M3 sub-frame, suspension, and in the near future we have plans to build a stroked S63 out of a 2015 F10 M5. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly: EMAIL webmaster@bimmerperformancecenter.com or give us a call @ 919-501-2090 and ask for Randall, our motorsports service writer. We look forward to joining the Bimmer Post community and continuing to help build the baddest BMW's on the planet. Bob, is that NC335D's dyno data? 420 hp and 641 lb-ft sounds over the top. I heard about the race with a certain person from Albany :-)

It is, this is after we fixed the boost leaks and replaced the intercooler with the custom one. That race, oh boy, as soon as that thing hooked, it loaded the engine so hard it blew up the that forge unit in half. I think there needs to be a rematch.

Clarification: Over the top was meant to describe the dyno results are awesome. Wasn't implying that it wasn't believable. NC, got any 1/4 mile pass info (god's dyno) with the repaired setup?

I recently got my X5d back from getting the alphabet delete done. The tuning by BPC is great, and the fabrication/install work done by Jess at Bohl Diesel is second to none. Bob and Jess said that I can get more power whenever I want. I think I'm going to wait until the new year for more power when Jess is doing tuning thru Bob at Bohl Diesel In Albany NY. Currently it drives great with the added power and makes no smoke at all. Lots of turbo whistle! More than enough power for groceries and Christmas shopping.

He's working a deal with BPC to be an installer. Not sure when it's available yet though; he mentioned it may be the 1st or 2nd week of Jan.
