Finally!!....I wrapped the roof

Well finally I managed to wrap my roof...I decided to be a bit different and wrapped it with carbon fibre look vinyl and matt black along the sides... I like it

Not a lot, I got the vinyl off eBay carbon look was about £20 and £12 for the matt black...I had it just carbon all over first until I received the matt black, but prefer it like this

Looks like a good job you have done yourself mate.

Unsure whether I like it, but will see it in person soon I'm sure and will probably change my mind.

Nice job, however it will look alot cleaner with rails wrapped as well. It will blend in with the windshield and rear window.

Looks really good mate and suits the Space Grey What vinyl did you use - is it the DI-NOC stuff? Is the CF effect vinyl gloss or matt (can't make it out from pics)?

Thanks guys, the cf vinyl is the 3d stuff and not gloss as the black along the side is matt as well, I think it looks better in the flesh. They both were the air bubble free ones

Definitely! maybe thats why it looks unfinished?

Shouldnt be too hard?

Would you do carbon fibre of matte on them though?

How difficult was it to fit, did you have previous experience doing it?

Im tempted to try it on a few parts myself, like my roof, but I'm worried, even with bubble free I will stuff it up!!

Great job dude! I would have the rails section done too to finish it off. Key is to make sure its vlean clean clean before you wrap!

thanks guys, well i wrapped my rear diffuser and kidney grilles so got the hang of it. it was a bit difficult at first but managed to sort it out
id say try it on smaller items so that you get used to it
