Whos sold on the F32 and saying goodbye to their E92s? Its amazing how the side by side comparisons immediately make the E92 look dated. I personally will be holding on to my E92 for the next 5-6 years.. Time to save for a house, maybe the following generation how about you guys

I'm not replacing my car until like 2018. By the time that comes around I'll probably pick up the 4GC

The new 3 series doesn't appeal to me physically as of the F30. I'm glad i got the E90LCI. It's my favorite 3 series. I don't like the direction BMW went with aesthetically. I don't know if I got bored of BMW but once my current car's engine falls out my next car will be an MKIV or MKVI Golf Diesel.
Don't get me wrong. I love everything about my 3er. the new 3ers just don't appeal to me at all.

Honestly I think the F32 is a nice looking car but it doesn't inspire any feelings that I don't have for my E92. Given that I can't afford a F32 for another 3-4 years anyway we'll see how I feel then. But given the comments about the electric power steering I might just keep driving my E92 until it is a pile of rust and upholstery scraps if I can.
It doesn't hurt that my E92 is loaded to the gills. I think the only gizmos I'm missing are PDC, adaptive cruise control, and then really extraneous stuff like window blinds. Part of me wants to start retrofitting just so I can say I have everything, but I think I better stop (I already added Sirius and the alarm system, that was fairly painless...) Now if you want to talk about lust, find me a good Batmobile, or even just a nicely equipped 3.0CSi/L. There is a car that inspires lust. |

More like, who isn't in tune with the economy, and has money coming out of their ears?
imho we need to get out of this mentality that says, "Hey, bud, your 2010 335i coupe is way outdated, do something." |

I've never liked the E92 so can't speak for that but I'm totally sold on the F32. Definitely my favorite looking BMW right now. We'll see how the official car looks but from this concept I'm pretty sure it will be just as great. If things go well financially I'll be looking at one of these in 2014 and passing on the E90 to the lady

Personally I don't care if my car is the latest body style, but I do care that it looks good and well maintained. I give more props to the guy DD'ing a 30 year old car that looks like a 3 year old car than the guy that is driving a brand new car... |

The new 3 has much better technology than a 2007'ish E92. But the way it drives is simply awful. Pay more, throw money away, and at the end of the day, have a car that doesn't drive that well, now that's a slam dunk. |

Not yet. I need to see the ACTUAL F32 design, not the concepts. Also, I would need to drive it. I've heard poor things about how the F30 sedan drives...
M4 will most likely be a MONSTER and may move me away from my 335is (which I would take over an F30 M-sport 335i sedan any day (I know not comparing apples to apples, but even styling wise, I love the look of the E92)

When I drove my friends f30 the feel of the car was just not there. I guess I just got nervous that the f32 would have that same vague steering feel. My BMW is a second car and meant for driving, I am fortunate to live near some of the best mountain roads in CA. I push my car hard two or three times a week and it is my favorite hobby carving through the mountains. I recently purchased an e92 just for that connected feeling you get while pitching into a hair pin turn. The electric steering I fear will ruin my hobby.

Based on the concept I am on team F32 so long as the steering is heavier than the F30's and they do something about that rear-end diffuser thing>??? It's way too busy. I hope this is a concept of a M-sport model and the regular 335 gets a normal rear bumper and no side air vent. Save for the wonky ass rear end bumper thingamajig and the dufus side air vent, I love how the F32 will apparently look.

I got a new 3 as a loaner for the second time today. My wife who loves cars was like I will not buy this car even if you give it for free.
The interior feels juvenile and plastic and is no match to the e9x maturity. electronic steering or whatever shakes between 40-50 mph. (on a car with 7k miles). Its like going to a nightclub with 18+ crowd. |

The F32 looks awesome, but now it has to deliver on the fundamentals. Will it have vague steering and steel stamped suspension frames...?
The small M2 is promising on paper, but the early mockups we can see don't look that good looking. |
