If we aim for Brunels Buttery, off Wapping Road, Bristol. Can be found on Google Maps but the 'pin' is in the wrong location by about 200m or so. Its actually further West along the wharfside under the only group of trees on the wharf. Then we can grab a tea and buttie. (Tetley in a mug for Booforty ) Time to be confirmed by all. I am fine early or mid morning. (i guess to some mid morning is early!!)

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...h&z=16&iwloc=A

If the weather isn't too good there is a well lit and reasonably new underground car park across the other side of the dock below '@Bristol' at the end of Canon's Way, just off Anchor Road which can give us shelter from the elements. You can see the ramp down off Canons Road roundabout when zoomed in on the link below.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...=18&iwloc=addr

This should weather proof the meet. There are some good photo opportunities around both areas.

For those who want a 'drive', there is a road called Belmont Hill between Flax Bourton and Failand. A up hill twisty bit I used to use on test drives. Only 5 minutes out of Bristol. If damp leave DTC ON!!!

Several 'back ways' to Bristol Airport from M5 Gordano junction. If you use this one to the Airport you would be going down Belmont Hill. It isn't so much fun going down as it is going back up

Once through Failand you turn left on to Clevedon Road, then right on to Charlton Drive and that gets you to the M5. Charlton Drive is also good in both directions

An absolute must. Used to stop there everytime we took a school trip down to Bristol. I expect the butties will look a bit smaller these days.

Agree, I think the Buttery would make a perfect meet location, sarnie for the hangover, and some nice pictures with the harbour as a backdrop

This sounds good and many thanks for the invite. My Clio can sit in the car park while I come along and meet you guys, and of course, my photography gear will follow me too.

Ill come up for the weekend. Book myself in some B&B and have a larf.

EDIT : Would you guys mind if I invited a few friends from the Evotechnik forum who might be up for this? I think some of them might already be on here.
