I just got my 335 n54 with 45k miles a couple of days ago and I was wondering what is usually the first mod everyone does. I was assuming either dci or jb4. If I could only get one for right now, which is better? I just want to hear some of that turbo noise because as it sits right now they are completely silent.

Tune and charge pipe should be the first 2 mods. You have to decide if you want to do JB4 or Cobb AP.

I'll probably go with the tune first and then maybe the charge pipe. As far as Jb4 or Cobb I really don't have a preference. Is one better than the other?

As above JB4 or Cobb plus charge pipe as the stock plastic charge pipe can crack under the extra boost
Also read this: It lists the top mods for the 335i and will answer most of the questions you may have PM sent |

DCI : 0-5whp
JB4 : +60whp stock Do your math PS: You might want to post in the N54 section to get more accurate responses. Congrats on the new ride and happy modding

Alright thanks everyone. I guess I'll go with the jb4 lol. As for the charge pipe, How hard are they to install? I don't have much experience working on cars but I can follow instructions pretty well

The majority of the people in the N54 section will say to go with Cobb. Since you're in the N55 section, most people will say JB4 especially because the Cobb is not compatible with most of our cars.

I am leaning towards the JB4 anyway but it's damn good to know this. |
