Need some help guys. Tried to install my Vorshlag camber plates today and noticed that the top mount doesn't sit flush. There is noticeable play and a gap of 3-5 mm or so after the top mount is screwed all the way down.
Any ideas? Perhaps I was sent the wrong top mount nuts? I have a pic to post later. |

I also have a video on my phone but no way of uploading it. Is there a site that I can use to upload it with?

So here is a pic. This is with the top mount nut screwed all the way down. The gap at the bottom is where the "play" is. In other words, this would move up and down as I drove if I left it like that:

Those centering sleeves don't necessarily have to touch. They insert into the spherical bearing which should give you the proper stack height. Put the plate on and then see what the situation is when tightened to spec. At least this is what I remember when I did mine.

That space should be taken up by the plates. Have you installed the plates outside of the car and try to fully seat the top nut?
