I've never had a bad experience with **********s and they have always been helpful and have given me amazing customer service. I ordered AR Catless DP's from them and got them in a week. Alan, Ron, Mike and the crew have always been very professional and had some of the best prices. It's sad to see that they are no longer a supporting vendor here.

They aren't just "no longer a supporting vendor"...they got banned. Does anyone know what happened? They were huge on here. I know there were some allegations of credit card fraud, but I didn't think there was any merit to that.

This is why we use a yahoo store and paypal. It is very secure for the customer and we never see your credit card. It costs us a little more but it keeps everyone safe.

Yeah that's the only thing I hate that they don't have a paypal option. I was going to order something from their site the other day but didn't because of this....

Aman!!
I'm glad they got banned, my one and only experience with them didn't end well. I bought a set of 19" VB3s from them back in march, three of the wheels were new but one was refurbished; the front of the wheel looks new but on the back you can tell it has been repaired, there were weld spots all over and might have been bent at one time, I was charged full price for the whole set ($1900) I thought ok, no big deal it's on the the inside, no one will see it anyway; went for a drive at slow speed was all right, as soon as I got on the HWY at 65, my whole front end started shaking violently, that one tire went flat immediately, I have only gone 10 miles (thank you BMW for not having a spare) got towed home, called sales rep ***** telling him something's wrong with that wheel; imagine that he didn't seem to remember me anymore, then transfer me to some tech support guy and this guy was even worst, saying it was all my fault, I installed the wheel wrong, I hit a pot hole ect. ect... I took the wheel to a local tire shop, they said the wheel will never be balanced and will never hold air, it's way out of round and leaking at the seam where it was welded. After a few calls and emails to modbargins, got the same answer, it wsa my fault, the wheel was fine when they shipped it. I got fed up and bought another wheel from a different vendor. |

Any time I asked **********s a question about something I was looking for I always got the same response.
Apparently half the shit I see on here in pics nobody uses anymore so I should just buy whatever they throw at me instead. Sorry if I wanted a damn lip on some rims.

The experience I had with them wasn't the worst, but it certainly wasn't the greatest either. At the beginning of my modding phase I went to Modbargins because it was the first resource I was introduced to. I'm not going to name which sales associate it was, but they were not helpful at all. I bought a few things from them all at once but it was one item the caused me a lot of frustration. I bought Blackline style LED tails and supposedly they claimed it wouldn't cause codes, errors, flickering, etc. Sure enough after my install I got ALL those issues. I emailed them and explained to them the whole process, description and how I installed them. And guess what?! They blamed me that it was my fault that it caused all that. I told them I did exactly what the manual described. Long story short, they played dumb that they didn't know it needed an anti-flickering module and they would charge me an additional $30 plus install for it. I refused bought the kit from JLevi aka SVC. That's one of the well known problems with the LED tails and they didn't know? JLevi, LTMW, and Beast Power all knew that was a common problem with them, why didn't they? And they're also BMW specialist? I felt like they tried to play me for a fool and just not tell me. Like a said, it was a good experience, up until they pointed blamed on me. Good thing I didn't pay with a Credit Card and payed with cash. If you're in So Cal, please just stick to LTMW. They know our vehicles inside and out. I've gone to them since then and have been more than pleased with all of their services and customer service.

That's strange. I've only had great experiences with **********s. From ordering body parts to performance parts and accessories, they've all been shipped in a timely fashion and showed up as promised. I deal with Alan for the most part, ask for him and everything will go wonderfully, I'm sure.

WOW not hearing good things about mod bargains, looks like I will be looking to another manufacturer for all my modding pleasures. Any suggestions?
PS i think its total BULL that they give people discounts for writing positive reviews/ taking down bad ones. So unethical, reviews should be based on experiences. PERIOD. Nothing else.

worst vendor ever - they once sent me a set of CF grills that looked like they were glued together by a 3 yr old and then fraudulently charged my credit card to put the icing on the cake!

I was even cautioned before I modded by another Bimmer guy that they were terrible. I should've listened.
