Glad your happy with the lights they do look great and are a nice alternative to the expensive Xenon conversion. Where did you get the bumper for that price?

Could be that it really is an M3 and he's changed the bonnet and front wings along with raising the suspension. Perhaps James was going for the 'wolf-in-sheep's clothing' look and simply forgot to remove the tacky badge.

M badge is fine since he now has the M-tech kit, just put it on the otherside and lower it a little its sitting too high. As for the lights, those are garbage, you can get them here in the states on ebay; find yourself some OEM LCI halogens with angel eyes for a couple dollars more.

As James has previously stated, he's very sensibly ditched the tacky badge, but the sparkly yellow tree should remain - it's in aid of the ADOF (Ambulance Drivers Overtime Fund) and is cleverly designed to distract one's attention from the road. Big fluffy dice and CD's have a similar effect and are both fully ADOC approved.

Anthracite headlining is standard on all sport models. Sit in your car and look up - it will be white. In a sport, it is a very dark grey, and includes a, b and c pillars.

Looks good. I was going to buy that leather interior but you bet me to it . I seen someone selling the m sport headlining on fleabay recently. The dark headlining makes for a nice atmosphere inside the car but fuck knows how you would get it in without removing a window.
This might seem like a daft question but why didn't you just buy an already built M Sport? |

dude, with the amount you've spent on getting that car to M Sport Spec - couldn't you have just bought an M Sport to start with?
Mind, it's a fantastic job. finish it off with some M sport suspension. Do you have any info on where you bought your headlights, as I'm after a pair for mine. good job. |

I have to agree with the previous post about buying the Msport to start with, however I take my hat off to you.
You've done exactly what I am hoping to do, as I just couldnt afford the M-sport with leather etc due to my age. I have an E92, and hope to get the M-sport kit added at some point, and I too have a long list of mods I hope to do. I would like to know where you got the M-sport bumpers? I've been perusing ebay for them, and plan to build up the full kit over time, eventually getting them sprayed and fitted. Was this an expensive and laborous thing to get done? |
