M3 Touring
Yes please.
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...?storyId=23089 Sounds like this might be E91 based, rather than the replacement model, but seems a bit late? |

Seems a little late in the day to release an E91 M3 Tourer.
According to this post the E91 will cease production at the end of 2011 / start of 2012. Given that the E82 is also said to be scheduled to cease production in early 2012 and the M version is about to launch with an expectation that they'll get less than 3000 built they'd have to get a move on. However, as the M3 Touring was reportedly cancelled at a late stage of development some years ago, they ought to be able to get it to market quite quickly.

Quote:
a) they apparently cancelled it as potential customers were buying M5 Tourings b) M5 Touring now out of production, so no product to fill gap Mind with only around 1000 M5 Tourings* made, its not a big market. That said I guess these things are always something of a halo product to shift e.g. 318d M Sports. *Sepang Bronze ones must be preverbial rocking horse whatsit |
