Jb5? New to the 335i World

New to this whole world, I think the JB 4 or 5? Cant remember, but thats what i plan to purchase. How much work is involved? Plug and play? Or do i need to tune it? Will this in any way allow me to pull codes from my car using my laptop? Like if i get a check engine light? If not, how can i do that?

You could literally answer all those questions right off the burger tuning site...
Just get a jb4 put it on map5 and dive the car.
