Just because you get the M wheel doesn't mean that you're a poser!!!

I know you're a tech geek, but what functions will you need form the steering wheel? I know you gots money to burn, but burn it the right way.

Like I said, maybe I'll change my mind when I see the actual wheel in person.

Until then, I'll guess I'll just keep my opinion about the wheel to myself. Oops... too late.

technically its no harder than change it to M-tech steering....same steps pretty much.....so it should take less than 30 mins....so labor charge shouldn't be expensive.....
(not sure about the LED displays and shift lights....)
last time longtran took only 8 mins to swap my ZSP steering to M-Tech steering....

i was thinking that too but you do have to get the tach signal from somewhere right for the leds to show the revs?

lol yea make sure you get the green light from the wife. anything with a M logo on a non-M is not my kinda thing. As for this wheel, I pre-ordered it, so i can always cancel if i want to till the last minute. IMO it's not too pricy as my phone cost more than that. It's the features that interest me. Nothing is practical. I have all the options and some I dont even use everyday but I like to have it.

How will the wheel receive signal for RPM's? Will you have to custom wiring to the ECU for RPM Signal?

People who put M on their non M bmw are the biggest posers in the world. I've never seen anything so pathetic. If you don't drive a real M car, then you shouldn't have M anywhere on your car.

Then how do explain this? I think it's wrong to replace the 3XXi badge with the M badge, but for small things like steering wheel, shifter, wheels, etc is NOT posing.
