Delivery prices
I have asked this question in the general forum a long time ago, but I thought this may be a better place to ask...
What did people pay for delivery? I paid about $1300, but was told by the dealer that BMW's standard delivery fee is circa $4,500. Is this right? I would expect a lotta lovvin for 4.5k!!

I also paid $1,300 under the so called "Executive Privilege Program". The original quoted delivery was thousands more, but I can't remember what it was. Once the dealer found my employer/company on some list of approved organisations for fleet discount, the delivery came down to $1,300. I think there was GST on top of this.

I'm not sure abt ur situation, for me, I paid 1300 for the delivery only, they didnt say anything abt standard delivery or what, and the car is not a company car, I bought it privately, but the GST is killing me!!

I ordered mine from BMW Melbourne Aug last year - and it is sad to say that I cannot remember the detail of the final breakdown of my deal. My memory is that mine was 2000. So perhaps I got slugged and yours was a nice deal. Definitely wasn’t anything near 4000. BMW did not give me a detail printout for the order - only the total we agreed on. Actually - that didn't really bother me anyway - it is the GST and Luxury tax that kills. Colin

That delivery fee is crap - they just check it out mechanically, clean it and put the mats in... transport costs should be included in the base price, which is sorta what my dealer tried to imply - that the size of the fee relates to the fact it is shipped over.
Try telling that to a Ford Focus owner, whose car basically comes the same journey...

4. Stamp Duty is an onroad cost
But BMW's Standard Dealer Delivery nearly eclipses them all.
