potential a/c problem?
Hi, I have an '09 E93. I've noticed the a/c coming out from the footrest area gets warm after awhile but the air coming from the top is cold. This happens when the a/c is NOT in auto mode. I've taken to the dealer & they couldn't figure out what the problem is, there was no error codes. Then I tried turning down the temp. gauge & the air becomes cold. So I think the a/c in the footrest area is always on auto temp. even if the auto button is NOT on? Anyone had this encounter? Is this normal?

I have not encountered it but it does not sound normal. It almost sounds like the floor vents are not closing when you switch to the upper vents.
