What are your suggestions on Spacers
Hey, I was curious as to what mm spacers I should use for my rear wheels.
My rear wheels are Ventus V12 evo : 255/40 on a 2006 3 series. I was thinking either 15mm, or 20mm. What have you guys used in the past/think. Also are there any problems that could occur from going wide to 20mm even though it's the rear set. Thanks, Jason |

by adding spacers you're always going to be putting more stress on the hubs, but I know people even tracked cars with spacers and all OK.
20mm should be fine, but would't go more (if this is a pre-LCI where track is narrower). If your tyres have very square shoulders like on michelins then may be 12-15mm is better.

dude, go measure it. its that simple. if ur car is 4x4 status, just jack up the other corner so the wheel tucks in to the fender, or close. then measure, buy spacers. its not rocket surgery.

I've got 20mm in the rears on 2006 325. No rubbing issues on non-Sp suspension. I get lots of compliments on the stance with the 18" 162 wheels. The tires are now flush w/the body.
Will add 12mm's in the front very soon, and then coilovers. |

any pics with the install? curious how it looks with spacer and non-sport suspension. Currently on non-sport but with 18s and considering spacers too.
