OK, so I spilled my Starbucks dark roast coffee onto my front passenger side carpet, and as luck would have it, the coffee mostly missed my all weather mats and nailed the visible parts of the carpet. I had the carpet steam cleaned within hours and even had the spot dyed to match but the spot is still fairly visible.

Does anyone have any advice/experience in replacing the carpet? My car is new and I think I want to look at having this done. It appears that it might be reasonably doable, but not if the front carpet is all one large piece which passes under the center console between the passenger and driver's sides. I don't want to compromise the plastic panels and their connections inside the car if this is not reasonably simple to do. How about it guys?
