What we have here is commonly referred to as a generational gap

Naugahide is made from Naugas. Top-grain Naugahide is the most desireable form of naugahide. The Nauga is a memeber of the Wombat family, and can usually be found in the company of Snipes.

Naugahide is also known by the generic trade name vinyl.

I might be able to understand quad tips as part of a free-flowing exhaust that added hp. But a cosmetic mod used by an ///M car that does not add to performance....

Haven't been on a Snipe hunt for years.
In Humber they have Super Snipes though.

so every mod has to add performance? Alot of guys in the Z/G35 community put cf roofs or black painted roofs on just b/c it makes the car look sporty. Are they trying to imitate the M car which has come out after the new M3? Cars have had CF roofs long before the new M...

Anyone in San Diego or near by willing to have their E92 used as a test car?
BlueBat is famous in the 350z community that is where I came from his overlays are the best out there!!!

Yeah that guy has serious skills. When I had the g35 got some overlays for my tails and was very happy with them. Hmmm not sure about how it would look. I'd have to be really feeling it for it to work. I agree with the people here it be a B!tch to install if you don't know what your doing.

this is exactly why i called upon,Bat, if the overlay is anything like it was for the G35s, then it will be a small fraction of that price. im still waiting for a response from him.

Why would you want to stick a sheet of black vinyl on your roof?

Please tell me it's not to have the CF "look"

Oh please oh please oh please...

what's sportier about it?

If I put black vinyl on my passenger side door, does that look sportier too?

I think it's more of what it represents (lightweight, track, etc)

Very true.

Good point if someone wants to minimize the CF look.
