Never owned another manufacturer besides BMW. I had an e90 and was hoping to find a non abused e46 M3 but didnt have any luck. I ended up with a e46 ZHP and recently purchased an e92.

Quick questions:
- From my understanding, there are 2 different blacks, correct? which one do I have and how can i determine that? Is the code in the Vin somewhere?

- I did some researching, my seat belt extender on my passenger side doesnt grab the belt. It also occasionally doesnt end up moving back into position and stays sticking out. Anyone have any tips besides ironing the belt?


- My drivers side rear view mirror never adjusts back into position when i get out of reverse and i always have to adjust it back myself. Not a big deal but it gets very annoying. What is wrong here? What happens to your mirrors when reversing?

Open your Hood it should say on a sticker

it reads

BMW - ************** Etc....

What he said... open hood.. sticker on the top right ... You'll see the name.. and a code underneath it

There are some threads about the seat belt extender; use the Search function.

The driver's side mirror doesn't move when you put it into reverse, only the passenger side and then only if the position selector is in the driver position.

Thanks, didnt even know that. Ill keep it in the passenger side position. My drivers side moves sometimes as well. Ill see what happens when i switch positions.

Was going to post pictures but I didnt want to start a thread for it because im sure people all know what a stock e92 looks like, didnt want to be annoying.


I have beige interior, wish it was black though...just hard to keep clean.
