Here's all the parts I used for piping:

2 pieces Aluminiumtube coupler 2,5": http://www.do88.se/p/aluminium-pipes...oupler-25.html

Silicone hose 90 degree 2,5": http://www.do88.se/p/silicone-hoses/...degree-25.html

Silicone hose 45 degree 2,5 - 3": http://www.do88.se/p/silicone-hoses/...gree-25-3.html

Silicone hose 2,5 - 3": http://www.do88.se/p/silicone-hoses/...3-63-76mm.html

20 cm of Silicone hose 2,5": http://www.do88.se/p/silicone-hoses/...e-25-63mm.html

+ some hose clamps.

No rocket science...

All of this should be available in the states at www.siliconeintakes.com

Hopefully this is the case. Although I don't have a doubt that it won't make a damn difference. A lot of people have confidence paying the premium for a name brand.

At least I can't see much difference between those two IC's (except from the fact that the one at the bottom of the picture is even thicker and has even bigger in- and outlets):

i really don't mind paying a little bit for headshield for DCI neither if somehow works with aftermarket dv and cp. that's brilliant idea!

Here's a log through 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear.
Ambient temp was 62f, and the AIT is rock solid!

With my former aftermarket-IC (RaceCooling) the temp always went up from 70f ---> 90f during a similuar test. So im very pleased!

What intercooler did you have before, so at least people know and can decide to go this route instead of getting the intercooler you had before!

Biggest difference is that the car feels crazy strong @ higher RPM's compared to the crappy RaceCooling IC I had on the car before.

Bigtom thanks so much for this I had thought ab this a lot and wondered why people hadn't done this and figured it was bc of fitment issues. Can you do some logs with no meth to show and compare to the stock intercooler better? Thanks again

Once you add in the silicone tubing, straps, shroud, etc then the price would be higher than 300 but not 1100 LOL.

This Big Tom IC is the shiznit!
