I have DCT paddles & I was told after the purchase, that this wheel did not work with DCT paddles unless the wheel cutout was trimmed - apparently that is not necessarily the case. In retrospect, I prolly should have gone with the Blue Stripe version anyway as the Tri-Stitching matches rest of IND interior parts

I didn't even install - just admired it for a while, then took the pics

Hmm I was looking for such a wheel but I also have dct shifters. Why don't they fit?

If you notice in the pic of the paddle cutout - it is shaped like an 'L'

The DCT paddles require a fully rectangular shaped cutout.

While it is true you can get the DCT paddles to work in these cutouts, you need to do some trimming, & even then apparently the DCT paddles will be slightly set out away from the wheel more than they normally would be with correct cutout.

There are threads where other members have done this successfully and state that you can't even tell it has been trimmed, but I don't feel right
cutting on a beautiful & expensive ($645 @ Tischer) wheel like this to try and 'mickey mouse' the DCT paddles.

Kinda pisses me off that BMW can't standardize options - I would have never thought that there were (2) different styles of cutouts for paddles - I've only ever seen the DCT version

So here I am selling this one & then buying the Blue Stripe DCT version

So hopefully someone that has the other style paddles, or a brave DCT paddle owner will pick this up for a good deal

Well, I haven't actually tried them, but Evan @ Tischer told me when I emailed him that the DCT paddles would NOT fit unless the wheel is trimmed, and directed me to look for info on the forum.

If you can direct me to a thread that shows pics of the DCT paddles fitted to this wheel from the back - I would appreciate it

Plus, I'm using the aluminum extended paddles on my DCT - I just don't have the time to tear apart my M3 wheel to see if they actually fit and what they look like - just going by what I was told by Evan (who is fairly knowledgeable).

In retrospect, the blue stripe version that is specifically for DCT would prolly match my other IND tri-stitched eBrake boot/M Power Handbrake better as it has tri-stitch also instead of white stitching as this one.

It does indeed look as if they fit (at least from the front)

I'll let this sale ride anyway for a while to see if I get any takers - that way I'll go get the tri-stitch version...
