Adjusting ambient light along door and trim?

Is it possible to adjust the ambient light along the doors and trims, increasing or decreasing the brightness of the amber glow in the cabin?

Thanks!

Yes, it's the same dimmer you control the dash lights with.

I'm not sure if it varies with model/packages, but I have a 07 e92 and the controls to change the ambient lighting is located on one of the stalks in the steering wheel (i believe its the turn signal one). There is a small flip switch that allows you to change various things and among them is the lighting.

Is this on non-iDrive or on iDrive equipped versions?

It's all the same, I-drive or not. And you'll notice, your dash lights will brighten and dim because it's the same switch that you adjust your dash lights with.
