Time slip for a noob, what do you think......
My first time to the drag strip, any suggestions on how to improve my time? Please chime in! I'm in bad shape when it comes to the 60' time.......LOL

Just practice your launches,to get that 60ft time down to around 1.8 or better and watch those times go into the the mid 12,s easily.For a first timer you ran just fine.Practice,practice!Btw work on quicker shifts also.

what tires are you running, and what rpm were you lunching at?

Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm AT.
I'm running Falken 452s, stock 18" wheels. I tried lauching at various rpms actually. Started with 1500 rpm, then moved in 500 rpm increments ending with 3000 rpm. At that rpm, it makes my tires chirp when launching. So I thought that was a good spot, and used that rpm from then on. That was practiced in getting this time slip.
