JB4 O2 Simulation Question
Ok, so I live in GA which is an emission controlled state and have a JB4 I'm about to install. I read that on map 0, OBD2 works. If I am on map 0, does O2 simulation still work?
This will determine if I go with a catless downpipe.

Set the car to map 0 and go to emisions. If your catless then you need DP fix. If you have cats then you dont need the DP fix. |

I thought the DP fix just stops the check engine light? I thought you would still fail emissions?
I don't know, just what I understood. Could be wrong |

The built in feature on the JB4 will NOT pass emissions...it constantly gets a "not ready" status.
The external DPfix actually simulates a working o2 sensor and will allow a "ready" status needed in order to pass. |

Grab the BMS if you are going catless. They have great price and fitment. From same place as your JB4 and DP fix.
I put them on myself. Not too bad. ANd yea no way to get under my car either. Its only about 3 inches off the ground. The emissions place will just plug into OBD2 port here in GA. |
