Received My Bms Down Pipes Today
Got my BMS down pipes in today, really nice looking product, welds are nice and thick flanges, looks like a really high quailty pieces. Ill keep you guys posted on fitment and power increase from them. I will also be adding a full ETS catback exhaust and injen intake.

Very nice! I have the same ones. Fitment was perfect to give you the heads up. No rust either
Just to let you know these are "very similar" to the Macht Schnell downpipes (if you catch my drift) |

I just purchased one of these bad boys my self yesterday and it should arrive sometime next week. Can't wait 'till I install it and hear her rumble as I gently press down on her. lol
Have you installed it yet? Keep us posted for I will be installing mine soon too! Are you installing it your self? If so, I would love to hear your feedback what to do and what NOT to do, tips and such. |

Seems to me that these BMS pipes are the best bang for the buck pipes and im sure they will hold up just fine. Definitely my next power adder in addition to my JB4 and Meth set up

These DPs look great...in for updates once they're installed. Wonder if they make these catted, as well?!

Catted DPs are overrated....you can still get CEL's and the dealer is still going to bust your balls if they find them during a warranty issue. C@tlless is the way to go....more power as well.

I think the only reason people want a catted version is for emissions purposes in some states or to reduce the smell/noise/raspy tones.
I agree the catted versions should be avoided, they tend to fail over-time, and really defeat the purpose of replacing the downpipes, which is to remove the biggest restriction, the cats. |

I feel they are thinking of emissions primarily, but don't realize they can fail with the catted DPs....and yes, the main cats are huge restrictions.
You (Jeff) know this, but (for others) if you leave the secondary cats in place the rasp really isn't present and the smell is minimal.

I'm going to have to bookmark these bms dp. I love the quality of the tig welds but I'm not ready to go catless just yet bc of the smell and I'm also still under warranty. I have heard allegedly thought that with a quality protune you can minimize the obnoxious gasses. |
