I am waiting for stealth bulbs, but I want to just throw in some amber REAR turn signal bulbs for my blacklines.

Why the hell can't I find these bulbs? Autozone only has them in clear/white, I need them in amber. Egg yoke look right now is fine.

I just spent the last 20 mins of my life searching and googling rear turn signal bulbs.

I don't care about LED or whatever, just want a simple temporary fix with an amber bulb swap!

Like i said I already did some searching, be surprised at how many posts and threads are on this topic...

Aren't the 1156 bulbs LED? I do not want error codes or them blinking ridiculously fast...

I know the wattage is different in some of the bulbs, 21w vs. 27w ...

I do NOT want LEDs\, just the 7506 bulb but in amber.

I know BMW makes different turn singal bulbs... one with the "150 degrees pins" and ones with "180 degree pins"

I believe I need the 180 pins for a RWD 2008 328i sedan.

This is another option . Hobby lobby sells translucent yellow stain glass spray. 4-6$. Tape the contacts and lightly spray the bulb part. Suggest using cartboard to hold the bulbs while spraying. Wait for it to dry. It last years but fades a bit over time.

I think I figured it out...

just bought $5 1156A bulbs are autozone, in amber, and with 180 degree prong placement... going to install right now and see if they work...

UPDATE

I put the 1156A amber bulbs and everything is working GREAT!

So the 1156A amber bulb does in fact swap directly out from the factory 7506 bulbs that are clear.
