My n55 has been long cranking out of nowhere last few days -

Then today after it did it I got check engine "operating at limited capacity "the war omg went away Nd there is nothing in my systems check at all now

Should I be worried? Maybe hpfp?

I got the half engine icon but went away -

There are a million threads about this. Yes ur HPFP is done most likely.

I wonder if I take it tomdealer before or dies to have it addressed if they can tell it's dying or do I have to wait until it's

If ur not gonna fix it urself take it to the dealer or other mechanics of ur choice.. i would not drive it this way.. i would not wait until its dead..

It's so strange it threw the code and didn't happen again.

Sounds like hpfp symptoms to me. Long crank + code + intermittent half-engine light is usually it.

still getting long cranks but no codes !

still on oem HPFP ! i got a tough one i guess
