Artist/song name when in radio mode
In my previous car - 2007 non-iDrive E92, on most radio stations, the artist and song name would scroll through the display. I'm not able to do the same on my new car - iDrive equipped 2009 E92. I went through the options couple of times but don't see it - what am I missing?

No can do - I find the best way to show this info is to turn on the split screen and set the right side to show entertainment details or something along the lines of that.
If you do happen to find a way please share |

I have idrive, but on mine it does it automatically for the stations that offer it. I have noticed some stations have it and some don't though.

I spent some time toggling on/off radio options - disabling HD Radio puts the artist/song name back onto the display. Wonder if it's a HD Radio or iDrive limitation.

Yeah, but selecting 'HD' option either conflicts with RDS, or HD stations don't carry RDS data. Regular FM stations are fine.
