Do you know if they replaced the inlet manifold gaskets? (should be on the invoice)
Not that I know of... wouldn't a leaky intake manifold gasket just throw 30ff codes?

Any sound clip for the ticking sound?

I can hear some loud ticking sound when the engine cover is off. Do you mean that?

Sorry mate I'm just hypothesizing, but not necessarily...

I had a massive boost leak from a blown BOV diaphragm and no codes...

Bloody frustrating these issues and almost impossible at times to diagnose via words alone at times

So we pressure tested the intake system last night and no leaks anywhere, next is to check the vacuum lines down at the turbos, can only reach 17PSI at the moment and very slow to build so I am thinking that either lines to the turbos are perished or boost solenoids are faulty.

older revisions of the boost solenoids are indeed known to tick, wouldn't you have replaced the lines when installing turbos?

I probably should have but I didn't
Just read a thread saying that the oil pickup screen in the sump can block up and slow the feed of oil through the pump, I wonder if that's the issue?

Your engine oil would have to be severely gummed up to clog the pickup screen, whats the prior oil change interval service history like?

Only time I've heard hat happen is when the serpentine belt has slipped off and shredded, then gets sucked past the crankshaft seal and bits of belt end up going into the oil pickup.
