Drink Can Exhaust mod. video added

Found some inspiration from another member in murica.

I've started on my PE exhaust mod. Waiting for a couple of clamps to come from ebay. should be done by end of week. here is a progress shot.

Looking forward to the sound clip
May I request a sound clip with the stock dp please?
Want to see the sound difference in PE mod between stock dp and aftermarket dp.

How many cans do you use, I imagine you'd need at least 3-4 to get something solid enough?

I hope you're not going to use JBweld, that stuff won't last. I've used JBweld a lot and its pretty weak stuff if you use it to join 2 pieces of metal butted up against each other.

Yep 4" are the perfect fit, there is a huge thread on this.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=exhaust+ebay

The perfect fit I believe is 2.5 inch to 4 inch

"If you buy the 2.25", the shop will just have to "funnel" the end of the tips to make them slide on the exhaust. If you buy 2.5", they'll slide right on, either way it can be installed easily."

Two good links
